“Houraisan-jinja Shrine” Important Cultural Property
Houraisan Shrine is said to have been founded in 773 when Wake no Kiyomaro (733–799 nobleman) commissioned Hachimangu Shrine.
The shrine was destroyed by fire when Nobunaga Oda attacked Kishu, and the shrine burned down in 1582, but was rebuilt in 1614 and all four buildings are designated as important cultural properties of the country.
Buildings of the same scale and style called ‘Kasuga-zukuri’ are lined up side by side, and on both sides of them are the ‘Nigensha Nagare-zukuri’ buildings, which are designated cultural properties of Wakayama Prefecture.

『宝来山神社』重要文化財
和気清麻呂（733～799年公卿）が八幡宮を創建した773年に創建されたと伝えられています。
織田信長の紀州攻めの際に社殿が焼失し、1582年に社殿が焼失しましたが、1614年に再建され、
4棟すべてが国の重要文化財に指定されています。
「春日造」と称する同じ規模、同じ形式の建物が横に並び、その両脇には和歌山県指定文化財である「二間社流造」の末社殿が横一列に並んだ形式が大きな特徴となっています。
財運招福、延命長寿等を授けてくれる守護神をお祀りしている神社です。
