The cap!! can you lift the visor up a bit, or else you are in shadow most of the time, Josh
I agree with all your picks, but really, travel is fun! 🥰 'nough said
best travel experience:
missing the train in Athens, Greece and taking a taxi to Patras, to catch the ferry to Brindisi!
even stopping for a photo-op, in Corinth 🤣 Gyros and coffee on the harborfront, watching the sunset…
The taxi driver took the opportunity to visit family, before heading back to Athens 😉
hello from Hundested 🌸 ❄️
I had to think about it. I have had a lot of interesting travels. But in the end nothing beat walking the Camino de Santiago. Almost 1000 km. of walking across Spain. I think it fair to say that it changed me permanently. Hopefully for the better.
One of my clearest memories of travelling was when I solo vent on Interrail age 19 ,true Germany, Nederland, Belgium ,England and Wales. And the reason why it was so memorable was because being on my oven I got to interact whit a lot of locals as well as a lot of other young people from all over the world travelling those countries at the same time “interrailers” .
February 1991; First time in USA (well Florida). On the first day going to Epcot and after 10 minutes we run into a family from my hometown.
i have been on a trip to england with a scout when i was younger. so there was a day we last out and sled. have to say it was a summer day. sled have caterpillar wheels on so it could be done.
I have also traveled all over the world. It has been a blast. My husband did not fly. So after he passed in 1999 I did the whole world. It helps when you have a traveling partner. She passed just before the Covid. It is also important to see your own Country.. I have also been to all the States.
I hope to go back to Denmark one more time in the fall. Being 89 by then, guess that is so.
Like H C Andersen said “ To Travel is to live”. I so agree . It would be fun to meet you ,when I come. Keep traveling.
If you haven't already you should definitely try an Optimus 25 yo from The Dominican Republic and a Cartavio XO from Peru 😉
Coolest travelling experience? Lol … finding out the curry in indian restaurants in Denmark, isn’t really strong curry.
I love spicy food, and when I’m eating indian food in Denmark, I always asks for the hottest, most spicy variant of their curry. Thinking that was the same in India, I did the same when asked about how spicy I like my food to be …
Let’s just say the spicy curry level in Denmark is riding bike with training wheels on, compared to the Harley Davidson ride of strong curry in India.
I became a very close friend to my toilet for three days.
Funny today … but at the time I was sure this was how I was going to leave this world. 😂😂
Garda city
Have you been to Hammerfest? The top of Europe, located in Norway. Try real 24 hour sun.
I was in Mozambique and Swaziland in 2001, one month after 9/11. Plenty of room in the airports.
Mozambique was a nice place because of the population, they were so nice and friendly, but very poor. That country is in my heart forever. Sadly, there are troubles in the country again.
In Swaziland (a real kingdom), we slept in tents in the middle of the jungle. Going to the toilet at night, was a real adventure. Completely dark and all these animal sounds. Here, you don't go to the toilet unless you absolutely has to. A little scary. Waking up in the morning with monkeys all over the camp, was very strange, but impressive.
14 days traveling around, best tour ever. Home to an icy and cold country, uhhh.

In 2009 I went to the USA to visit my dad and the rest of my family that I havent seen since 1961.
on our trip there, my dad lived in Missouri at that time, we went through 15 states and saw both Mt. Rushmore, Yellowstone Park, Crater Lake, Las Vegas and of course Graceland.
According to H.C. Andersen: "to travel is to live" but then again sometimes the travelling itself is more importent than the arrival at a given destination. 🍻
Rum, you should try mez-clado… I like no. 3 a lot.
i was on vacation in miami and orlando florida everyone i met was so nice i picked up the police man and asked nicely if i had to see the police car into and he show me it told me all about being a police man and being i also drove wrong so hold on I in and asked way and her lady on take case she soon hated free and only I follow her show me way👍🏻😊
Traveling internationally as a family is awesome! Avoiding the obnoxious loud American tourists, rule #1 or at the very least, rule #2. The international experiences are priceless and makes life much richer. Traveling is an education you can't get in a book.
One experience I had in 2009, my first time in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil was a motorbike ride along the coast and through some of the neighborhoods. Ot was difficult to choose one as I too enjoy traveling also. We evolve as human beings the more we travel, especially when we travel abroad.
A fun travel destanation.. take the Farry to Thorshavn… Rent a car and explore 🙂
Pre-Trump and Corona, I've mostly gone to the US (every two years). Then something happens. Your offered to go to a country or place, not on your "Bucket List", but just happens! in the spur of the moment! In 2015, a close friend invited me to Dubai. Totally not on my list of places, or somewhere I'd ever wanna visit…, but I loved it ❤️ ! In 2017, eleven of us went to "Sct Thomas" and "Sct John" (USVI – former Danish Virgin Islands 🤣 ) and Florida. Never been a Fan of Florida (The Blue Hair State😆), but I totally just loved Miami and Orlando. All places I wanna go back to 👍😍👍 !
Just when I thought I couldn't like you guys more, then you tell your a rum guy 👍🥃
i agree 100%
i always recommend to see your country/state first, to know where you are from
And these are the reasons the Good Lady and I travel as much as we can. You guys are wonderful. Talk about all the right reasons. For sure. Thanks for setting the bar.
Class trips in 1990 and 1991, first to Bodø Norway and Prague Czechoslovakia, the trip to Bodø was with our friendship cities in Sweden (Jönköping), Finland (Kuopio) and Norway (Bodø), I'd wish we had facebook back then, because we meet some cool girls and boys and it would just be crazy to know where they are today. I will probably never go back to Bodø, but I should, the trip up through Norway is so beautiful and alien to someone living no Fyn 🙂

Well you made Denmark great again :p (for me as a Dane)
At 3:36. Look who is wearing a hat 😄😄😄
i don't know what my favourite travel experience would be, but i had some weird and funny ones, like when we went to iceland with my bordingschool and i ended up being pushed into a fridge for a few minutes cause we found one of the fridges had no shelves in it and because sometimes teenagers are a bit weird hehe. and with the scouths we went to france and our guide Jean Noel, kept saying weird stuff like beware of the wild teddy bears or watch the sharks in this stream (that was about 1-2cm deep). one day he basically ran down a muntainside with loose rocks, and the day after he managed to break his ankle on a completely flat trail. he was really funny and only added good and fun memories to our trip
Let's see … I've been to the USA, Canada, England, France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Sweden, Italy, Germany, Greece and San Marino. And each and every one of those trips was a unique experience. 🙂 Hard to single out one, or even two. I went to the US as a camp counselor – that, in itself, was a very unique experience. I went to Italy to attend language school, which was another fantastic adventure. 🙂
Next time in tourbus with annoying americans you just speak danish 👏🏻😉
First of all, i've been following from the start of your youtube journey. I love your storie telling, traveling with family, joy of history, and so on. I have a question regarding the climate, pollution and CO2 use i general, that I hope you will answer and reflect on. Here it goes: How do you tackle your CO2 consumption, with flights and car holidays several times a year. I certainly like the experiences, but I'm curious if that is anything you are talking about in the family, especially with your daughter who belongs to the generation that must pay for previous generations' pollution and overconsumption. Do you compensate some way, and do you have any idea how much your consumption over a year is CO2 wise. Last, sorry for my poor english written language.
