Best OCEAN VIEW KERAMA TOKASHIKI Island 🏝️ HOTEL SUNFLOWER Okinawa Turtle snorkeling by ADEYTO 2022

2022 mid September, this was such a wonderful stay during typhoon times! The owner kindly picks us up at the Aharen ferry side without us asking to, we were so pleasantly surprised to get off the boat and see the big car with the name of the hotel on it right there on the pier. The owner a very kind gentleman with much international experience and life abroad is generous to offer so many things for free, while other lodgings in same area at same price will charge you extra for every little thing like towels and laundromat use. The top floor has the only rooms on the entire Aharen beach with ocean view!! The hotel has by far the best location in the entire village and thanks to it being the tallest it will be easy to find your way home at night if you get lost on the dark streets. Having an Ocean View is priceless, because the weather changes very fast in the area and even if it rains it feels so nice to see the turquoise sea from your room and know that better moments await you! The room has everything you need, fridge, towels, veranda to dry your stuff and eat the delicious pizza that you will buy at Shimamun+ just few meters down the street in front of the hotel, it is so great to have one of the best restaurants on the island so close to you! And if you have some pizza left over, you can keep it in your fridge and warm it up in their toaster downstairs, it is one of the very rare hotels to offer a toaster machine next to the microwave and hot water kettle down by the front desk. The hotel is bit aged but I’d rather have the ocean view than a new building on a random street. Then you can rent here fins for snorkeling and life vest and I recommend to do it (or bring your own) not because you can’t swim but because it is just so much easier to watch for longer periods the many cute yellow huge fishes coming to interact with you from the reef in front of the hotel. We were snorkeling for hours! And the owner gave us a nice discount for the ocean activity rentals! Using the laundromat and even the soap powder is offered for free right next to the beach shower that has warm water even. The owner was also so kind to give us a complementary tour of the island landmarks when our boat was cancelled and had to stay one more day. When we asked for ventilator he immediately gave us one. And drove us to the port for the departure. It was such a happy stay and we were actually thrilled to extend it when the boat got cancelled and even saw a sea turtle that day when snorkeling Aharen beach! After observing other lodgings on Aharen beach would absolutely only stay here when visiting again! 40 meters walk to the ocean!
