Jojakkoji Temple (常寂光寺) is a quiet and pleasant temple surrounded by the beautiful nature on the mountainside of Ogura mountain in Arashiyama area, Kyoto city. The temple was founded in 1596, by the 16th head priest of Honkoku-ji, Priest Nisshin, during the Keicho era (1596–1615).
