I had come to Cabo San Lucas in the state of Baja California Sur. It was time to explore the town and see every corner of it, including Los Arcos which is one of the most famous areas of the town. I was determined to swim out to the arches off the shore, but that would come to be a really bad idea. Also enjoy some scenic drone shots of the whole town! I had previously traveled up along the whole west coast of Mexico and stopped in famous places along the way such as Puerto Escondido, Zihuatanejo, Manzanillo, Acapulco, Mazatlan, La Paz and many more.

One thing I learned when out in Cabo San lucas years back were the water currents , had a few crazy moments out there especially driving down the coast from la Paz to cabo stopped off to watch the waves nearly got pulled into the ocean just up to my ankles in water scary ,
But loved my time out there
That swim he took could have easily been his last. I am a regular visitor and spend a lot of time down in Cabo. Ive been told many stories of people drowning.

Always check with locals about swimmable beaches…..always respect the water. It's also good to know how to swim out of a rip current. I've been caught in one on the Northside of Black Rock on Maui…..lots of fish, but not worth it. Stay on the south side. Women and couples are not offered drugs. It seems to be only offered to men while walking around the marina in Cabo.

If you stay at some of the resorts, be ready for the locals to annoy the living shit out of you. 1 hour of beach time comes with 97 Mexicans asking if you want to buy a bracelet. That’s no exaggeration

First time in the Cabo area. San Jose del Cabo is nice but Cabo San Lucas is a DUMP! Aggressive vendors everywhere and the downtown is total CRAP. Highly overrated.

I'm shocked when you said you were going to swim out to the arch. I thought you were kidding. The riptides in Cabo are well known and swimming is only designated in certain areas. Glad you are okay — could have ended very badly for you. Take care and thanks for making this great video.

Cabo’s is nice and it’s small enough where you can walk the city without any issues. But it has grown so much. I hope the Cartel doesn’t take over the beauty, peace and kindness like they have on the beaches of Cancun 🙏🙏 let’s not forget the sales people in the airport trying to sell you Time Shares! Smile keep walking, don’t say a word look for your transportation. it’s all a scam!!!
