  1. Wait…ok base layer, then a mid layer aka insulation aka her fleece, then down jacket aka another insulating layer, then her outer layer which isnt just a shell, its an insulating jacket. Im no expert but is something wrong with this? Again maybe its just me being very new to this stuff, but she has 3 insulating layers? Isnt the point of the fleece and down to eliminate the need for a insulated outer layer?
