    There is a very good German restaurant directly behind The Queen's Hotel in Angeles City. A German man runs it with his Filipino wife.

    Way back in 1998 when I was still in college and taking up Hotel and Restaurant Management, we had a food exhibit of cuisines from around the world. My group showcased German cuisine and we chose to showcase "Sauerbraten mit Spätzle" as our main dish and for dessert we showcased the traditional German "Äpfel Kompott."

    One of the most delicious sausages is the sausage sandwich I tasted at the Munchen train station… on a separate subject matter, how can the mighty German team lose 2-1 to Japan. All is not well in the football world. And Argentina lost to Saudi Arabia.
