    Thank you for mentioning Taiwan as a province of China. There are many ignorant people out there who believed that Taiwan is a separate country. I believe that Tokyo is probably the most populous Capital city in the world. However, Beijing is much more impressive from the global stage and historical stage.

    ''Harvey'' i can't wait for your Harbin trip.. make sure you cover the Harbin ice festival its so much bigger than the one they put up at Sapporo Japan.. when you are in Beijing don't forget to do a trip to the old summer place ( yuan ming yuan ).. should read up on that place its fascinating.. it was burned down and looted by the colonialist in the late 19th century..

    It is estimated that no amount of socks can withstand the cold outdoors in Harbin. I wish you some clothes that can be heated
