Ridiculously picturesque town with prime rose overloaded streets, a quiet river, historic houses and off course Göta Kanal, the very long canal that runs across Sweden. Perhaps the longest line for ice cream I have ever seen.
This was my first visit, and I’m sure I missed many gems- but I also caught more on film- more walks from this lovely town will come. I was also wondering how the place looks in the winter and a fellow YouTuber has filmed a walk in the same place at -18 degrees, you should check it out: https://youtu.be/YmGE1T81mLE

I have a walk from another place along Göta Kanal, with more water locks, a rather lovely summer walk: https://youtu.be/iRRzgzLvBOQ

  1. Didn't know about this marvel of engineering. Already studying. As always, thanks a lot!❤

  2. Nice! Vibrant colors in the scenery. Breezy, cool with the sun out. No wonder the people are out. Lovely day to spend outdoors. Thanks!

  3. Wow that is a Lovely town…. I do like a Canal…. Are the locks "Manned or do you have to operate them yourselves?…. I worked for a season in Formula 3 back in The 80`s I remember a few of the circuits were in towns ending in "Koping"… Does it have a meaning? (Jonkoping, LinKoping) ….. I can see you living in that house SW…. With a nice boat tied up on the canal with you enjoying an chilled white wine……… Nice….. :-))) xxxx

  4. This town is overwhelmingly beautiful. Also, thank you for history on this little gem of a town. 💙💛

  5. Unbelievable! My family and I walk into frame with the most perfect timing at 10:11. As you walked by I saw you holding your gimbal and mentioned to my wife "that might be Stockholm Walks".

We recently moved to Stockholm and watched your channel a lot before moving to prepare for scouting neighbourhoods ourselves. We ended up moving to Hammarby Sjöstad in part because I'd seen your video walking through the area and put it on my shortlist. Love the channel and the Sweden walks series!

  6. So Sweden has its own "Panama" canal! Go figure! Maybe not as wide, but with a truly picturesque surrounding

  7. Wow, how do you find these places? The green house with the porch facing the canal at 10:38 is so adorable, what a place to sit and watch the people go by in that perfect weather!! I remember your other canal walk from last year, the canal seems to attract people wherever it is, can't wait to see more. As always, alldeles logam. Thanks, James

  8. Could you do another walk in Slakthusområdet? Your last one was two years ago and I'm curious what has changed since then. Thanks.
