二泊三日で、九州の耶馬渓（やばけい）や阿蘇をまわる旅に出かけました。一日目は、佐田岬から大分県の佐賀関へフェリーで渡り、耶馬渓へ。奇岩と紅葉で有名な、一目八景（ひとめはっけい）がある深耶馬溪の風景が美しかったです。耶馬渓は、日本三大紅葉名所の一つとして知られています。
耶馬溪ダムに隣接する、耶馬溪ダム記念公園「溪石園」の紅葉も素晴らしかった。園内は紅葉にあふれていました。その後、手彫りで掘られたという、青の洞門へ。人々のために30年もかけて、ノミと鎚でトンネルを完成させた禅海（ぜんかい）和尚の執念はすごい。九州の美しい風景を、一緒に楽しんで頂けたら嬉しいです。
For three days and two nights, we went on a trip to Yabakei, Aso, and other places in Kyushu. On the first day, we took a ferry from Cape Sada to Saganoseki in Oita Prefecture to visit Yabakei Valley. The scenery of Shinyabakei, where the famous Hitome Hakkei (Eight Views at a Glance) is located, with its oddly shaped rocks and autumn leaves, was beautiful. Yabakei is known as one of the three best places in Japan to view the autumn leaves.
The autumn foliage at Keisekien, the Yabakei Dam Memorial Park, adjacent to the Yabakei Dam, was also wonderful. The park was filled with autumn leaves. We then went to Ao no Domon (Blue Cave Gate), which was dug by hand. Monk Zenkai who spent 30 years to complete the tunnel with a chisel and hammer for the people is amazing.
