Here is a video of Asakusa!

The jinrikisha is said to have been invented in 1870 by Yosuke Izumi, a native of Fukuoka, together with two of his friends. They invented it based on the idea of Westerners driving horse-drawn carriages. The most convenient thing about the jinrikisha is that it can be pulled by one person.

  2. Nan-chan was my rickshaw driver when I was in Asakusa a couple of weeks ago, so I highly recommend her as a rickshaw guide.
