This short walk will bring you to the Chureito Pagoda in Fujiyoshida.
The Chureito Pagoda is a five storied pagoda located on the mountainsides of Fujiyoshida.
The pagoda is part of the Arakura Sengen Shrine and was built as a peace memorial in 1963 nearly 400 steps up the mountain from the shrine’s main buildings.
The location will give you one of the most breathtaking view of Mount Fuji in combination with the pagoda.
The place is famous for the mount-fuji view but also for it’s cherry blossom in mid April or during the autumn color season which usually takes place in the first half of November.
