Zenko-ji temple is one of the oldest temples in Japan. It is located in Nagano, Japan. Nagano is part of the New Golden Route on the way to the North sea of Japan. Nagano was once a location for the Winter Olympic so on the way to Nagano from Tokyo, we saw many tourist/skiers packed the train with their snowboards. Definitely a destination if you are into winter sports.
