The Seishun 18 ticket is one of the most economical travel options available in Japan. This ticket lets you use the entire JR train system for an entire day for only around 2300 yen per person per day. The catch? You can only take local trains. You must also purchase a set of 5 tickets per purchase. However any number of people can use this one set, which means that if there are 5 of you, all you need is one set.
