I visited Karato Market in Shimonoseki City, Yamaguchi Prefecture.
Sushi, seafood bowls, fried foods, etc. are sold at this market.
Shimonoseki is also famous for fugu (blowfish), and there were many fugu on sale.
The view of the ocean in front of the market is fantastic.
Everyone was eating food purchased at the market while looking out at the ocean.
There is also an aquarium and a small amusement park nearby.
I recommend this market because you can eat fresh seafood and sushi at a reasonable price.
