Japan Bike Tour Vlog Day 14 – A Day in Hiroshima

We have finally reached the end of our tour, and have a day to do a bit of exploration at a chilled pace around the center of Hiroshima.

We started the day by going to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park where the site of the first A-bomb was dropped, and it was truly a stark reminder of the horror of war to innocent lives.

We then spent the majority of the day exploring the many places to eat and shop along Hondori street, Hiroshima’s central shopping arcade.

As sunset drew nearer, we chose to finish our exploration of the day by visiting Hiroshima castle.
