I saw a large family at AK – each person toted in one part of a sandwich buffet and before long 12 people were eating ham n cheeses at the high top tables outside Tusker House
I usually get a whole baguette at Boulangerie Patisserie for 3.50. Between that and club cool it’s all I need. 😂 Also, I’ve found over the years different resorts have peanut butter packs in the food courts, often for free, which I also eat as a snack. Because I’m a Disney hobo.
Food network at least gave Rachael ray $40 a day and that was 20 years ago. This video is unrealistic.
We went to Disney in early 1991, just before my husband deployed to the Gulf war. We ate a LOT of peanut butter and crackers. It was fine. Our kids were little so didn’t miss anything.
If you're going with another person, my suggestion is to share a lunch entree, share a dinner entree, and each get a snack or two in between. You can still try a lot, but it saves $$$. Just as an example for Magic Kingdom: Spicy Chicken Waffle from Sleepy Hollow + 2 Dole Whips + Nachos from Pecos Bill = $35 total for two.
The answer is no
It's easy. Fast for 2 days. Spend $100 like a normal person in WDW, then fast for the last two.
$20/day!
Why shouldn’t Disney charge for delivering groceries to your room? Seriously DFB do better.
Homecomin brunch for the win. Kept me going with some popcorn snack until dinner.
$20 budget per day… How about a caloric budget per day? A video showing how to enjoy each park on a 2000 calorie diet. It is certainly possible with sharing. And, with all the steps in the parks (usually over 15K) per day), that expenditure of calories could be rolled into the daily budget for items like spring rolls. Yummm!
Ooh I miss the free dining perks from 12 years ago lol. This year I am budgeting and have been saving all year because…Disney food. I'm not a big souvie person so I'm skipping that. I did buy Britta water bottles for the fam at 70% off *have cricut, will design 🙂 I will be placing a order with Publix (oh how I miss that store) for snacks to carry to the parks and when hungry at the hotel. Budgeting each of us at $40 each per day. Except Boma because I have to have one sit down breakfast/meal.
We don't stay on property, we usually stay in a hotel that has free breakfast, and we eat dinner off property most nights. This makes eating or snacking in the parks a little easier. Disney charges a ridiculous amount for a room that we are just going to sleep and shower in.
Thanks so much for sharing. Wonder if Disney Hollywood also has Mickey popcorn refill as well. 😊
You guys are so amazing thankyou for helping those who want the disney experience but can't exactly afford alot be able to go and have a good time and know that it's possible. This is a challenge I think avid Disney goers should do just to experience it !!
Is it a 20 per person?
Very helpful
Just stayed at Pop Century and they have a coffee pot that uses pouches which are provided by the resort. I’m sure you can request additional pouches. No Keurig though. I bought instant coffee and just used the hot water from the coffee pot.
As a foodie, I’m looking for specific food items in each park every time. I spend alot of time watching videos prior so I don’t waste time and money on things that I don’t think will be what I want. I put alot of thought into which sit down restaurants I want to spend more on, months in advance. There are some sit down restaurants in Epcot that I don’t think are worth it, and I would not go back. I agree, the best options are the $6 small portions in the festival booths.
The answer is NO
13:09 why on earth would you get outside food DELIVERED to a Disney World property😅😅
I’d love to know what you use to record ?
i would call this more like snacking around WD for $20 a day.
With all that walking , we dont like to eat heavy.
Personally we leave the park around 3 or 4 to get a break and go to an actual restaurant. Then we return to the parks for a relaxed evening.
Sometimes there is nothing we even want to eat in parks and other days we do. Just saying. It doesnt have to feel like you are depriving yourself.
I do have to say you can get your lunch at Publix bring it in the park and you will have a fabulous lunch and that will help cut cost.. Publix is a great supermarket and it's literally less than 10 minutes from Disney world it is in the Disney bubble
I had the feijoada at the Brazil stand last week and it was PHENOMENAL – a tie for my favorite of the food & wine festival!
So I have gastroparesis , so I can’t eat big meals and I can’t go too long without eating. I really appreciate that adults can order kids meals at Disney because otherwise I may have to live on Mickey pretzels only. Many times I skip out on my family’s sit down meals because i can’t justify the price for the amount I eat.
