Ostensibly a city – and a big one at that – for where to lay our heads between Tokyo area and the next days, modern Nagoya nonetheless had many charms. Least of which its fantastic food scene!!
It was a long warm day of walking large streets, peering at castles and stuffing ourselves with local dishes.
This would be our base for the next few days.
We ate:
Misokatsu at Yabaton
Tebasaki at Yamachan
I wouldn’t say that Nagoya is life changing, but a worthy base and pitstop. Friendly and foodie.
