  1. I had made a suggestion during the live stream but I am not sure if you saw it. Perhaps when people are asking questions during the live stream, they should use Capital letters. It would make it easier for you to spot the questions from the chit chat.

  2. fly into Ft Laurderdale and take a shuttle..its call VLC I think 15$/ person to Miami port.

  3. Captain Brian's Sting Ray Beach & Snorkel Trip is Awesome – We have been several times and always go back to his boat if you would like the company and pricing just let me know and I can pull it out of my most recent cruise and excursion file.

  4. I totally agree no less than 5 night cruises anything less leaves me thinking where did the $$ – time go…. We live in SW Florida and a stay cation is better than a short cruise!!!

  5. Have you are any of your subscribers ever been on the Emerald Princess ? I go to Alaska on Emerald Princess in August any tips I should know about?

  6. We have a wireless hub for the internet that we have gotten from Verizon. Would this wireless hub work on cruise ships?

  7. This is something that I've learned during the security screening at the cruise terminal. and I want to share this with everyone so you won't make the same mistake either. This will definitely save you some time and a little bit of embarrassment. Make sure the shoes that you wear does not contain any type of metal. On April 22nd I went on a cruise ship inspection Tour on the Carnival Elation out of Jacksonville Florida. That day I wore some casual clothing as well as dress shoes. I knew where I was going to so I left anything that I thought that resembled a weapon or any type of metal at home. Only thing I took was my pocketbook with my photo ID as well as the ship inspection invitation. Well anyway. As I was walking through security metal detector. The metal detector went off. so the lady TSA person said do you have anything in your pockets? I'm like no. Then she was like can I see your belt? So I showed them my belt. Then she asked if could walk back through the metal detector again. So I definitely complied and walked through and then it went off again! Then they asked me if I can remove my shoes cuz they say it may just be my shoes. so I remove my shoes I put it on the conveyor belt so I can go through the X-ray machine. so this time the lady asked me to walk through again and then I walk through again. And this time around it did not go off. And then they said yes it was your shoes. so from there I was able to proceed to the counter to be checked in so I can board the ship with my godfather. The point of the matter is. make sure none of your shoes is not made of any type of metal. I learned a lot about my dress shoes that day! And I've had those things for 15 years. Definitely a lesson learned hun. But other than that. I had a blast!👍👍😁😁

  8. Question for you next podcast stream – For princess CL, or other ones that you have been on, what is your thoughts on the assigned times for dining?
My second question to you what was your experience when missing your assigned dining time in the main dining room? Things happen like I nap too long, get sea sick but recover in time to get dinner later, get sucked up in a fun event, and etc.

I love your channel. Thanks to you, I will be trying Princess CL. I have 2 booked NCL cruises (to celebrate me finishing med school!), but PCL is next on my list after I somehow squeeze it in during my busy schedule, as residency is crazy busy.

    Thanks.

  9. Thank You so much for reading my question & answering it! I appreciate it & you guys so much! Have a great weekend!

  10. So cool having you read my comments and questions. I'm glad I was finally able to catch the live stream LIVE

  11. Does your husband use a new SD card every day, then take a spare for over flow. I started doing this when my camera "walked away". I lost the pics from that day only. I don't know of another way to reduce the risk. Have to take 17 this next trip. Any thoughts? Missed the live stream again. Always sleeping due to work hours. Thanks for the time and energy you put into these

  12. Tip: during the summer if you want/need to stay happy during the (high heat) and you know you can't stand the heat, then keep a bottle of: PEDIALYTES readily available and take a swig of it first thing in the morning and when you need it during the day and then in the evening during dinner, you body will feel energetic and NOT WILTED from the heat. EVEN after alcohol drinking.

  13. THANK YOU SOOOOOOO MUCH! I really appreciate your guidance and taking time to answer my question! Also thank for uploading the lifestream. It was so cute when your husband told you you're perfect. I was like "Awwwww they're adorable". if I see you in Princess Alaska, i'll try to build up the courage to say hi.

  14. For camera/day bags. I use one by OGIO. It's made perfect for carrying tech around. Tho I don't use a dslr, the biggest camera I use is a Sony rx100 v.

  15. I am so jealous that your hubby still has that great backpack. I used to have that one and soooo miss it. I got a tip though for anyone looking a camera backpack. I bought a diaper bag/backpack. I know it sounds funny but it has multiple compartments, it's padded inside and it even has a compartment that is insulated that keep stuff cold when we go ashore!!!

  16. I love this! I paused your video so I could order the RAVPower FileHub on ebay – I'm prepping for our cruise next month 😎. This episode speaks to my geek side 🤓 love it!

  17. I'm going on a Bahamas cruise this July – I planned our trip to coincide with their Summer Junkanoo Festival. I will let you know how that goes!

  18. I would like to know Which waterproof makeup
(foundation, eyeliner ,mascara lipstick ) have you used on a cruise and which ones the viewers would tip/recommend ?

  19. It's funny that you see people fall off after they cruise- I went on my second cruise in Februrary and I'm obsessed! I look forward to your videos, they make me want to be on another ship right now! I've talked my sister into a cruise in November 2018, but that's so far away 🙂

  20. Hey Sheri! I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of 3 t-shirts (should be coming today). Just wondering if you have tried Cafe Press? They can be a little pricey, but good quality t-shirts (and other merch). Have gotten stuff from Zazzle too (very pricey – but excellent quality)! Maybe you can find someone on ETSY who could be your "middleman" for designing and mailing out merchandise! Lots of very "crafty" people on Etsy!! I have bought many Bichon shirts and stuff from Etsy people!

  21. hello I watch most of your videos and I love them my wife loves them as well I have a very important question would you really save a considerable amount of money if you book your next cruise vacation while on your cruise and if so can I book anothe boat or those it has to be for that boat thank you in advance I appreciate your time

  22. Sheri! Can you stand one more question from me? With regards to excursions booked through the ship? I have never cruised before, but will be going to Alaska on the Ruby Princess soon. When you get off of the ship for your excursion, will the excursion company that you booked with, be holding signs to let you know where to go & will they be waiting for you? Or do you have to search them out? Or if not, what is the process to find your excursion tour guide? As you can likely guess, I am a worry-wort, and worry about every aspect of pretty much everything. Lol! Thank You so very much! (These are our excursions…I am not expecting you to be specific about any of them at all…just listing them…White Pass Scenic Railway-Skagway, Glacier Gardens/Mendenhall Glacier-Juneau & lastly, Town & Harbor duck Tour in Ketchikan.) I can always ask the ship employees too.

  23. I  actually think in was rainy in New York lower region not upstate by Buffalo, Plattsburgh or Potsdam.
    lower region it rained.

united or jet blue would be the correct answer.

the pool on any cruise ship isn't deep at all.  I  would guess about  4 to 5 feet deep.

what was the question about Bermuda?  I heard you talk about insonata but not Bermuda?

I heard Carnival doesn't have the best service or food by a person who does videos on youtube.

  24. I absolutely love your videos! They are so helpful. I really respect that you keep you families identity private. Also, have you ever been to Bermuda? If you have made video I might have missed it. I've been there four times, and it is fantastic! Keep up the good work.

  25. Ok, just now watching this video. So the WD (Western Digital) Passport Wireless HD has newer HD versions that have SD card slot built in which will auto copy or move (configurable) and they are their own wifi hotspot. The wifi hotspot will also act as a 'passthru' and connect to the internet then pass that connection on to all your devices connected to the WD Passport. I think this started with the 2TB version and is still available on the 3TB version. I have the 2TB version which I use to save 1TB of video and music to serve all my devices while traveling and still leaves me a full 1TB to archive all my new media from the trip and keep my cards available for the next day.

  26. yeah it really best to fly into Ft. Lauderdale and it is very easy to get anywhere in miami its right next to I-95

  27. id like to see a video that highlights the onboard activities that are geared towards men. to be honest, im finding most entertainment seems to be couple or woman focused.

  28. This is very late – you posted this a long time ago but just in case anyone is reading the comments. We live in the middle of the country (AR) but love the beach so we take A LOT of road trips. Our craziest was when we drove 24 hours to get to the birth of my SIL's son – without stopping overnight. Some tips- my husband and I enjoy having an audio book on for long car drives while the kids have the movies on the iPad. I check out 1-2 audio books out from our local library so there is no cost. We also get regular books for the kids so they aren't on screens the entire time. We download movies onto the iPads as well. We always plan extra time so we can get out and eat for at least one of the meals and stop to stretch our legs. We also play car games like I spy, the A-B-C game on road signs, twenty questions, etc. with the kids.

  29. I watch a few cruise videos for research, and you two – three – are something else. Professional without being anything other than keen passengers. I see a lot of ship and cruise reviews and the presenters mean well but they aren't as focused on what their viewers want. So many times it's wow-aren't-we–special or look-at-simply-everything and the cruise is over in fifteen minutes. Or two hours.

You divide the topic up into days and segments and themes, and it works well, One confident presenter – and you might be bone-tired or rushed for time but you always make it work – and one director-producer-cameraman. And one kid to bounce around and remind the viewer that this is a real family, not some hired models.

This time I was interested in what Mr CTTV had to say with his gear recommendations. I'm not a GoPro kind of guy, so I might give that a miss. I love my Leicas but honestly phomne cameras are almost as good for ohotographs and tons better for video. iPhone lenses are marvels of precision and the things they do with software and sensors is way beyond any camera you can buy in a shop. Blur the backrpound for a portrait? No worries. In real time video? Sure.

The results speak for themselves. I'm sure there's a tonne of editing goes on behind the scenes, as well as a lot of work setting things up. Thank you.

  30. Looking further into the USB hub, I'm wondering about surge protection. The blurbs for these things indicate protection but are vague on the details. I know that the cruise lines use a different power and ground arrangement to terrestrial supplies and surge protection represents an actual safety hazard aboard so I'm wondering about that aspect.
