  1. Not everyone can cook Hainan Chicken. The good ones don't have the strong odor and they are smooth with no fat. The terrible ones have hard and dry meat, the chicken's skin smell is so strong and they are too salty.

  2. hainanese western food probably came about because immigrants from hainan took up jobs as cooks for the british in singapore

  3. Lol…. I didn't even know those places you named exist in Singapore… LOL Newton Plaza?! Old Airport what?!

  4. Food look so Delicious 😋 and Where stay at hotel in New York. Some people frist time visiting New York. Hotel near Hawker center. Never been to New York.

  5. Just subscribed. Love your food videos and planning to check out your social commentary as well.

Hey, ¿can you do Chinese food with strange names? In your Flushing video, you visited Liu Bu, and when I checked out their menu, they had Pimple Soup. And just watched Why are these Cantonese dishes disappearing? with Blondie in China where they talked about "poop noodles". And of course, the Cantonese call catfish "pond louse". Just a thought.

  6. Great idea, I'm sure there's an authenticity to it that you can't find elsewhere … but those prices …………….aint nothing hawkerish about it

  7. Do you like film with a team of bottom feeders? Obviously, you can't eat all that food you featured in this video in a single visit. How did you do it? Serious question because soon I'll get to travel to Taiwan for a week and I'm going to have the same problem. So many selections but limited time and only 1 stomach.
