    Also, some balconies are not obstructed for view out to the ocean, but can be obstructed looking DOWN – all you see is lifeboats. Kinda a bummer if you like to look down and see pepes walking about.

    Very SWEET to offer Master Class to the 1st timer ! I just winged it on my first cruise ,,, and turned out fine. But I think fast forwarding many years, I would be nervous, too, now ! Lots to know to really maximize enJOYment !!

    A great travel agent : they actually GO on Cruises, regularly! They respond fast to your inquiries. If not, move on !

    Panama Canal is a good “one and done” … but nothing earth-shattering. This history of what it TOOK and the people sacrifices most interesting. We took a shore excursion for the complete transit vs. partial ,,, but really was the same thing … a few more times. Quite a long bus back. Believe the port Colon (?) is a very convenient HUGE trinket place .. works great for anyone that can’t walk far off the ship.

    Pre book theatre shows if required. Believe Allure had broadway ‘Chicago” on a sailing. Reservation only.

    Usually have to book EARLY for accessible rooms due to limited availability . Wider doorways, cabins, bathroom accommodation Most ships let you request large print paper products, flashing lights with doorbell supplied, vibration shaker under pillow, etc. I’ve seen Celebrity and one other line (?) have a dedicated grass mat on a walk around deck for service animal Fido to do business.

    Out of HAL, Princess, Celebrity – you’re more likely to see “open” alternative lifestyles on Celebrity. Just FYI !

    I can't say enough about our TA!!! We have only ever done 1 cruise and will hopefully do another after this season of elder care, but I gave her an ALL IN budget for 7 days of $5000 flights pre and post cruise hotels and excursions. She booked veranda stateroom with classic beverage package all hotels and flights and it was $5230…..we over spent on souvenirs and didn't even care!!!!

    My best friend and I are doing a 4 day Mexican Rivera on the carnival Radiance in May 2023. It’s my second cruise and her first. What is the weather that time of year? Is there a decent hotel in Long Beach by the port. I’ve googled a few but figured you would have a much better recommendation. Thank you so much! 😊

    QUESTION, A cruise that I have on my bucket list is the Norwegian fjords! I heard that they are going to ban cruise ships in certain areas of the fjords. My question is do you know when the ban is going to be in effect! I was wanting to sail in 2025 but I am worried that the ban will already be in place ! any insight you have would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
