Mae Kha Canal is one of the ancient canals of Chiang Mai Province. It originally served as an outer moat that surrounded the city. and is a drainage channel overflowing into the Ping River The water that flows along the Mae Kha canal flows from Doi Suthep-Pui National Park. It acts as a thoroughfare, draining water down to the Ping River.
In the past, Chiang Mai Municipality has invested a budget to develop the Mae Kha Canal. from the past as a sewage canal and was treated in the canal Until today, the Mae Kha Canal has become a canal that has come back to life.
