   At the time in early 1980s our family was living near Everett, when Mt St Helens erupted – huge bang and then what looked liked real fine snow for several hours. Tv stations went out (this area didn’t really have cable TV yet either) – To hear a what sounded like a huge cannon shot at the family car from over 200 miles away is unfathomable.

   Great video, interesting interview. There was hardly any news in Australia about it, I guess it was during Covid so it didn’t get the attention it deserved. But good to see they’re recovering. New career as a reporter maybe…? 👍👌
