When I was in Japan last month, I walked alot. I was amazed by the elderlies. They walked with canes, never giving up. While crossing the road, I noticed the elderlies and those with crutches, walked faster than me. 😅
I love visiting Japan not sure if I'd do well living there but wouldn't be opposed to it.
kodawari, pursuit of perfection, can be a good thing, but at times also bad, like i worked with japanese here in sg, and every task is micromanaged that it can be stressful haha
Japan is definitely better than Sg! Wat r u thinking 😄. The country is wayyyy bigger than small prison island of Sg. My guess is u cant stay in Japan because u get less youtube view from them….then u need to travel round the world.
Stay wherever you feel welcome and safe, ultimately for what you did in your videos about SG, thanks a millions🖐️🖐️🖐️
Japan is good to explore for short stay but not a good environment for work.
Ghib Ojishan , u should continue to work in yr homeland. Japan needs u more than SG. As the gov.give pirioty to locals ,facing shortage of workforce.
Of course japan is a better place to live in, esp the beautiful farms n country side. Singapore is too small, far from comparison to a big beautiful japan.
Hi ojisan san ,once you decided ,please let me know I wan to partner with to open Hokkie mee shope in japan. Thanks
absolutely correct: japan is nice for short visit but not so nice to stay for long term.
I found your doppelganger from Korea in this YouTube video, the pub owner looking after stray cats…

Well the climate and weather here doesnt help too. Who would want to go up the stairs, especially to work or on the way home after a tiring day at work, when the weather outside is warm enough to make you perspire and drains you
🥰
I saw a umbrella shop once at a department stallnin kyoto. Their cheapest umbrella cost $100
As a born and bred Singaporean who has lived here all my life, I can actually totally see why life in Japan are not as "rosy" as things seem; high cost of living, extremely fast pace of life, overbearing societal pressure, toxic work culture etc.. In all respects, Japan and South Korea are awesome places to visit as tourists, but not so great places for residents who live there. There is a reason why Japan and South Korea has some of the highest suicide rates in OECD countries, or unique phenomena such as 'karoshi' or 'gwarosa'. Life in every place does have its own set of problems, including in Singapore, but sometimes Singaporeans just take life in Singapore for granted. Truth be told, I am always sad when I return to Singapore from a holiday. But you are right that Singaporeans just have to appreciate some of the other things in life that we have.
You have become the SOS, the adopted Son of Singapore. 😁👍💖🙏😎🇸🇬
Wow like my friends ask me,are you going back to Brunei or staying in Singapore.Singapore is awesome. But I might want to go home in future.lol.It might be dull but it alright.Peaceful,Easy Living.
Thank you so much for pointing these out as some of us Singaporeans here might have missed out the good points about this country that we are born in.
Of course, there is no perfect country but SG is as close as it can get.
I am so happy that you manage to find your happiness here and that SG (personalizing it and everyone here) has treated you well. I cannot be more thankful for your channel and I hope only good things happen to you. Let's work together towards our dreams and goals in life.
There's so much depth in what you shared as your reflection!
A very thoughtful and reflective video. You are absolutely right, there's no perfect place on earth. Home is where you feel most connected to on a day-to-day basis. It doesn't mean home is the perfect place that ticks all the right boxes but it's where you are happiest and most comfortable, even while complaining about its shortcomings. There are so many things I don't like about life in Singapore, but it is still home to me, and wherever I travel and no matter how long I'm away, I always feel a skip of my heart when I land back here and hear the words on the plane… "Welcome home".
Yes, In Singapore u were feel safe when u go home in the might night or walk in the street. I went to my relatives house in other country, n she has to locked the gate plus all the windows even though she live in the landed house, just like in the prison n to travel to a food store or to get a groceries is so inconvenience.
As said is good to be a tourist but not as a resident. The conclusion is I m happy to live in this country.
