We visit Wright Brothers National Memorial in the Outer Banks of NC and see where the first successful powered flights happened in 1903. Experiences like this remind us of why we RV full-time with our kids.

  1. I agree with Marissa- Publix Key Lime Pie is the BEST!!!! The minis are sooo good- perfect bites of pie, whipped cream and almond slices. Great video as always, guys!!!

  2. Thirty some years ago I took my then 12yr old son by ferry to Okacroke Island. I loved it. We went to the beach where you could look each direction and maybe see one person far far away. I loved it. He wanted to get out of there and go to Myrtle Beach with the amusement park and go karts and putt putt and so on and so on. (The "wild" horses were penned up by the park service.)

  3. 24 years ago, my hubby and i spend our honeymoon in the outer banks, loved it so much, we went back a few times but then discovered myrtle beach (south is best) and love that more as there is so much to do, yet the south side is still kind of like the outer banks, just more to do.

  4. You are in our backyard! We walk our dog up to the monument almost nightly. Great place to catch the sunset! The horses are up in Carova Beach, a little further north. It actually meets up with where you camped on the beach in Va last week. Looks like you're in Whalehead Beach in Corolla. Locals pronounce it "Ka Rah Luh" πŸ˜‰ Love your passion for travel and your purpose!

  5. I love how you guys push the boundaries & stay positive doing it.πŸ™‚πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦β€πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

  6. Your are so right about the Key Lime Pie my husband tries it every place we go and thank God we live in Florida we’re there is a Publix on every corner he always has his favorite snack. 😊

  7. I like your channel and i follow your journey for i have more junk, less journey. Hopefully, we'll catch up in the near future…lol.

  8. Just FYI you need to turn off the traction control when in sand or mud.. Traction control is only for icy pavement

  9. A plus to your traction issue is that you had double or four tires in the back pushing forward through the sand and N didnt stop until he was secure with his surroundings.

  10. it's easy to not worry about it when it's not you who would have to solve the potential problem. my mum is a way more extreme example of this. her husband does everything so she lives in bliss not having to worry about things. as soon as there is something that's her responsibility she crumbles.

  11. I think that's the most valuable thing you are doing is the memories, and you will always have these videos you share with us to remind you of all of them. Enjoy the road and stay safe.
