Today we will take a ride on the Vienna U-Bahn – U1 line between Hauptbahnhof and Stephansplatz stations. This is not a long ride, but it is enough to get an impression of what the underground in Vienna looks like. It is the backbone of one of the best performing public transport systems worldwide according to UITP (International Association of Public Transport) in June 2009. Enjoy the video!
