■Description
Dotonbori is a symbol of the Minami Area and a mecca for the food culture of Osaka. Dozens of restaurants and snack huts line the Dotonbori River, and large billboards create astonishing atmosphere of energetic Osaka-vive. It is impossible to count how many restaurants there are!
There are canal tours by boats, but you can also visit there by stand up paddle boards or canoes. Japan City SUP Association which opened in 2021 arranges canal activities and tours. They have paddle boards and water bikes to rent. They also have lockers, shower/bath rooms and washing equipments for your gears.
道頓堀（どうとんぼり）は大阪（おおさか）ミナミエリアの象徴（しょうちょう）で、大阪の食文化（しょくぶんか）のメッカです。道頓堀川（どうとんぼりがわ）の横にたくさんのレストランや出店（でみせ）が並び（ならび）、大きな看板（かんばん）は大阪の活気（かっき）ある空気（くうき）を作り出して（つくりだして）います。この近くにどれくらいのお店があるのか、数える（かぞえる）のは不可能（ふかのう）です！
水路（すいろ）にはツアーボートもありますが、SUP（サップ）やカヌーで漕ぐ（こぐ）こともできます。2021年にオープンした日本シティサップ協会（きょうかい）は水路でのアクティビティやツアーをやっています。パドルボードや水上（すいじょう）バイクのレンタルもしています。施設（しせつ）にはロッカーやシャワールーム、道具（どうぐ）の洗い場（あらいば）もあります。
