Japan Road Trip: Kumamoto to Takachiho (Episode 15.3)

Day 3 – From Kumamoto drive to Takachiho, 80km of distance it took us about 2 hours to reach Takachiho Gorge 高千穂峡. Although country road was slower than highway, you never want to miss the beautiful scenery in mountains. Boating was fun and beautiful to cruise in the river, many tourists congested in this area, so i suggested to go there early hour.

This night we stayed in Takachiho Ryokan Shinsen 高千穂旅館神仙, it’s a very nice resort with private hot spring spa in our room. The food and services are 5 stars rated, and you will meet the lady owner to serve you too.
