There's my Mallow Cups! I always get that when I am there…and the Smoothies too…if they have them! No matter where I go….there will always be a meal at Cracker Barrell included! It's my favorite. Food has been consistently excellent. Service too! And I love the store. Great place to shop! I did not know the history. Such a shame that they didn't keep up this one. It's a historical landmark…at least in the South…lol. I had no idea you could buy the bread! Their French Toast is the bomb! Country ham? Yes please! Hashbrown casserole? Oh yea! Cracker Barrell has the only maple syrup that I like. Well…now I am hungry! LOL. Jennifer is right…the chow chow is great!! It's made with mostly cucumbers and onions with spices, vinegar and sugar. Love their greens too! I love it all…except for their chicken and dumplings. They do the rolled and I prefer the drop like my granny always made. So cool to hear Jennifer's memories of her family. Also had no idea about the buttermilk. I love a cold glass with my cornbread …again…my Granny's influence..lol. I love the Coca Cola cake too! I have the recipe for it. It is a family favorite! I will have to study how you win the peg game so I can amaze everyone when we go. We always try…but I can't remember anyone ever solving it. Wow…long post…lol. I get on a roll about Cracker Barrell! LOL! Hope ya'll are having a great weekend! God bless!
I’ve never had dinner at a Cracker Barrel. I usually get the buttermilk pancakes 🥞
Wow what an excellent history of Cracker Barrel. I'm a big fan of the southern fried chicken, okra and dumplings.
Brent, I had a slice of the coca cola cake back in August 2016 when we were OKC from the Dean McGee Eye Institute after getting my new eye made. We stopped at Cracker Barrel because, I wanted to eat there. That's the last time I've been to a Cracker Barrel. Really enjoyed your video and the history of Cracker Barrel! As always loved Henry's response!
We really enjoy Cracker Barrel. I love their biscuits & cornbread.
There food is so good & such a treat when we travel. Thanks guys for the review & the history!
What a great job!! I learned so much!! I was so touched with Jennifer speaking about her sweet Mother. What a blessing to have wonderful parents isn't it? My grandmother loved buttermilk too!! The sweet pic of you and your dear Mom was very touching. I have lost both my Mom and Dad, but thanks be to Jesus, I will see them again!! Just from hearing y'all talk about your faith, I'm sure your Mom is waiting for the day she will be reunited with all of you!!
Very interesting, informative video

Always a great place to eat! Thanks for sharing the history. The Peg game I remember playing that at my grandmas house and always at Cracker Barrel! Appreciate y’all’s time in sharing these videos and the great places y’all visit!
I loved hearing the History behind the Cracker Barrel and Jennifer's special memories.
I loved your story about the Barrel and your Mama Jennifer. What a great company to work for! I retired from there as a Server Trainer and I loved every minute. I have lifelong friends and great memories. True story…when I first started there after a week I couldn't button my work pants anymore and I couldn't figure out why. Well a coworker said "whenever I see you you are eating mac and cheese"! YEP! Never stopped either lol never will. Great video as always!
That's strange that there was no price on the meals for the lunch and dinner on the back of the menu. 🤔I used to know how to solve the peg game. I remembered the top part but forgot how to do the bottom part. Thanks for the refresher! 😃Your meals looked really good! I enjoyed the history and the story of the restaurant. I also enjoyed hearing about Jennifer's memories of her mother and Cracker Barrel. Loved Henry dancing!! LOL. I wanted to share a couple of short videos about the man that hunts down all the antiques for the restaurant, Larry Singleton. You may have already seen these. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Qtf_TvCBXo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IS2GNxFTv-I
You can never go wrong with Cracker Barrel!!
The turnip greens are frozenPic-Sweet brand you can buy in the store then add bacon grease and ham
cranberry relish or cranberry sauce you gotta have it with turkey….they go together like tomato soup & grilled cheese sandwiches!!! the biscuits must have been out of this world with the apple butter & Jennifer's turnip greens and chicken & dumplings……l know what l'm ordering when l get to a Cracker Barrel…they're pancakes are always good too.Gentry sure likes his mac & cheese and Henry does a good job clearing his plate too…..Do the kids like cocca cola cake? maybe they are sore at you for not getting it to go🤣
When I travel down to Florida (I live in Ohio) – I always stop at Cracker Barrel to eat. Thank you so much for telling us the history. Very interesting. Great memories for Jennifer also.
Best sourdough bread, nice sweet n chewy
What is chow chow made of?
Southern chow chow is typically made with just chopped bell peppers, green tomatoes, sweet onions, and cabbage.
Turkey without dressing? That's a no.
Great video … Cracker Barrel is our go-to for a consistent good home style meal! That was a very touching tribute to Jennifer’s mother … well done!
Very interesting. Loved the video and Cracker Barrel. Have a blessed Sunday. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
We REALLY enjoyed this video! Especially going around and seeing the support locations where cracker barrel products are made. Also I want to eat at the Mexican restaurant that is at the original location lol
