Why centipedes? Apparently because centipedes can only walk forwards, not backwards – and Buddhists like that thinking.
Just wondering, was that noodle shop also in Nagoya? Stopped through on the shinkansen a few times, but never visited. Looks like a great place to be.

I love these hidden shrines and temples that Japan values
