Fujinomiya city is not as famous as Kawaguchiko area to see Mount Fuji and there are not many sightseeing tours to here however the view on the mountain is as marvelous! I actually wanted to buy a house on this very hill with nice Fuji 🗻 views but my friends advised me not to since it is bit far from Tokyo. But I always wanted to come and actually see that house even if it was already purchased by someone else and that’s how I discovered this very nice view on Mount Fuji from the forest and park nearby! It only takes some 30 minutes walk uphill from Fujinomiya Station to get here and actually nice to see also houses old and new. Interestingly Fuji is in North direction towards Fujinomiya city and the locals don’t put all their big windows towards Fuji but rather towards South or West for the Sun. Probably they are so bored with living near Mount Fuji and seeing it every day so they don’t strive to have big windows towards it anymore. That would be not acceptable for me though 😂
