After a rainy morning changed my plans of a visit to the outer parts of Taipei, I try to salvage this day with just a basic “plan b” places within the capital. First, I briefly visit the Grand Hotel which is considered one of the largest Chinese inspired buildings in the world and certainly an instagramable hotspot. Afterwards I headed to the Confucius Temple which surprised me with its beautiful complex (and also being much less crowded). This site is modeled after Confucius original residence in mainland China. I finish my night off with another food (market) adventure at the Shilin Night Market. The previous night here left me with some other things that I wanted to try, plus everything is so tasty here; or are they?

Love your Video!
As a Taiwanese, I never been to this temple. It’s beautiful.
Taiwan has tons of temple for you to explore.
You can check out below one of biggest temple in the world:
一貫道天皇學院
9/28 is believed to be the great teacher Confucius’s birthday so a grand ceremony is held at the temple every year. It’s worth of seeing if you happen to stay in Taipei.
9/28 is also the teacher’s day in TW.
This is my favourite hotel in the world, Hyro. I spent two weeks in it, and wanted to take my hotel room home with me. There is an amazing feeling of peace in that building. Thanks for the tour, I loved it!
