Slow luxury way to travel between Osaka and Tokyo.
There are many choices to travel between Tokyo and Osaka, and I tried “Platt Kodama” green car service.

“Platt Kodama” is a ticket sold by JR Tokai. Kodama is a bullet train (Shinkansen) that stops all stations from Tokyo to Osaka. It takes extra time comparing with faster service “Nozomi”. But you can travel cheap between Tokyo and Nagoya, Kyoto, Osaka. The Green Car (1st class) ticket is 12300 Yen and 10800 Yen for the regular seats. *
Considering the small price difference, I strongly recommend Green Car as it takes about 4 hours between Tokyo and Osaka.
Green Car has a wider seats and much more comfortable. Make sure you get enough drinks and foods before on board as it’s not available on Kodama services.
*Important Note: This is a tour product by JR Tokai, and the price and condition doesn’t apply to the regular Kodama tickets. The price of Kodama is the same as Nozomi if you purchase at the ticket counter. The product “Platt Kodama（ぷらっとこだま）” is available until 22:00 previous day from online.
With this specific ticket, you tends to get car No.8 of Green Car. Wheel Chair accessible restroom is in Car No.10.
