http://www.interpretiveneziani.com/ A highlight of your visit to Venice should be attending an evening concert of classical music performed by Interpreti Veneziani. They perform nearly every night at the San Vidal Church, near the Accademia Bridge at 9:00pm. Just show up at 8:30pm and you are sure to get in and find an excellent seat near the front. Interpreti Veneziani made their debut in 1987, immediately gaining a reputation for the “…youthful exuberance and all-Italian brio characterising their performances”.

The talent of the members of this group, their expertise as soloists and ensemble musicians and the high level of their performances have earned the Interpreti an enthusiastic welcome from both audiences and critics.

Their important achievements include appearances in the Melbourne Festival, in the Bayruth Festival and concerts at Stockholm’s Royal Palace, participation in the World Vision telemarathon at the Kirov Theatre to mark the “reinstatement of the name St. Petersburg”, a concert at the Osaka Symphony Hall in live broadcast for Japanese radio, concerts at the Tokyo Suntory Hall and Kjoi Hall and appearances in glamorous seasonal concerts such as those of Sapporo and Yokohama during five tours of Japan.

The Interpreti Veneziani did several tours in Australia and have been invited many times in America (Bahamas, Mexico, Venezuela, Guatemala, Colombia). In January 2007 they had their first tour in the United States where they have continued to perform every year; three tours are also scheduled in the forthcoming season.

The Interpreti Veneziani’s recording activity includes production of a first compact disc with the music publishers Musikstrasse with music by Giuseppe Tartini and 16 compact discs recorded with Rivo Alto.

For the last 22 years, the Interpreti Veneziani have performed over 200 seasonal concerts at the San Vidal Church in Venice, near the Accademia Bridge.

  3. An amazing performance by an incredibly talented group of musicians. What a highlight of our trip to Italy!

  4. Absolutely stunning lifetime event, the most talented musicians ever heard

  5. I have seen these guys 3 of my 4 trips to venice – only reason i didnt see them the 4th is that i got super ill on the day we had tickets. David on the cello is ridiculous – you have to see them in person to appreciate it. The acoustics in San Vidal are wonderful!

  6. I go see these guys every time I am in Venice – live experience defies description. Go, go, go, go, go!!!
