The best time to visit China town in Bangkok is the night time. You will see hundreds of street food stalls everywhere plus vivid lights along China town streets.
The doors can be confusing. That type of door is from Japan, you press it and then it slides open, I remember I had difficulty with them the first time I used one in Tokyo.
