Nananu-I-Ra Island is situated on the north of Fiji’s main island, Viti Levu in Rakiraki. It is 2-3 hours driving from Suva to Rakiraki.
The water is crystal clear as you can see in the video, with corals just nearby. MacDonalds Cottage provides chalets complete with furniture and kitchen and cutleries where you can prepare your own meals (like we did). Or you can also order from them with prior notice.
There are abandoned chalets on the other side of the island where you can walk around and explore. You need to stay at least two nights and explore the beauty of this island!
