ATLANTA MODEL FIGURE SHOW 2019

This annual show features completed scale figures of all kinds. You will find historical figures displayed by themselves, as well as in scenes with other figures. Many are in military uniforms, particularly from the past and from many places in the world. There are also displays of military and other vehicles, sci-fi and fantasy figures, and toy soldiers

The show features a contest for the figures, dioramas, vehicles, and busts. Many of these are built and painted by people in the Atlanta area, although many contestants come from out of town. There are numerous styles to be seen from very small scale miniatures meticulously painted in oils to larger busts and figures painted by airbrush.

Also included are workshops on subjects such as improving painting skills, making realistic dioramas, etc. Another large room is devoted to vendors who not only sell figures and busts of all types, but also modeling supplies, display bases, books and magazines, and toy soldiers.
