Palestine – many people have different perceptions of this middle-eastern land.
It often makes headlines for all of the wrong reasons, but most don’t know what life actually is like in this occupied territory.
I’ve been interested in Palestine all the time since I learned about it in a history class, and finally got a chance to visit for three weeks this autumn.
But throughout the trip, I realized how little knowledge I had about this beautiful land.
I didn’t know about its unique culture and warm-hearted people, but I also didn’t know how they are suffering from injustice every day and how it feels to sleep hearing gunshots at night.
From this week, I will start a new video series called “Behind The Wall”, to share what I actually saw and experienced in Palestine, surrounded by the separation wall, which was illegally constructed by the Israeli government.
As a first video, I’d like to explore the Holy City: Jerusalem.

Thank you Wes, you're doing great work.
It is a childish thought, I know it’s more complicated than this, but I just wish we could all share this holy site and live amongst each other in peace. I pray this conflict is solved in our lifetime, seeing as it is already has gone on for so long.. it’s heartbreaking! And thank you Wes for another great video, I don’t think I have ever commented on any of your videos but I’ve watched many, and they are all great!👍 take care and safe travels! Greetings from Norway.

Good overview
I suggest a trip to Lebanon.
Lebanon is open to interview you about Israel grabbing land.
You know its politics the separation. Seems like a open internment camp.
Walls that divide neighbors.
Israel has a strangle on USA, England, Germany and many west nations.
It is amazing a country with low population owns a lot of international banks worldwide.
It's a form of martial law basically.
Please be safe it's not good to go back .
Suggest waiting until Palestine has its own airports and immigration.
I discovered your channel a few weeks ago and your videos are always interesting. Thanks for this great work again, especially on such a difficult topic !
Hadirr gaed
Very good video content Wes!!! Well explained information. I personally like it!!!!
It's complicated and there is no middle ground. Did you notice a sharp change when you went from one Jerusalem quarter into another? To me it felt like going to another city, another country or another millennium. Thanks for showing us the instant noodle. It seemed so… international.
Get out of there.
This is not a secure place for you!
Make your videos somewhere else, the planet is big!

I am a descendant of a Palestinian father, which is why I am very interested in this topic. Thank you very much for your video, it is very informative and very well done. Congratulations. Greetings from Chile.
This was fascinating Wes, very interesting and informative, you could actually feel the tension in this vlog, thanks for the journey 👍🏻
Jesus return is the only fix for this land.
The Israeli government is disgusting – quoting Nazis and even acting like them. The people who perished in the holocaust would be ashamed to see this.
And my countries "friendship" with Israel is also disgusting and just as stupid to me as it is most of the rest of the world.
Very interesting, thanks for share Wes.
U handsome
Can't wait for your next travel video in Jerussalem my brother… spread love and peace 🙂
We turning Israel into Wasrael 😏
