WALT DISNEY WORLD 2022 | Day 4: Epcot | DVC Moonlight Magic – Typhoon Lagoon | Ale & Compass Breakfast Review & La Creperie de Paris Lunch Review
Day 4 at Walt Disney World starts for Dan & David with breakfast at Ale and Compass at Disney’s Yacht Club. Dan has had his eye on that Caramel Apple French Toast for a couple of years, but will it live up to his expectations? They both give you their review of this Disney breakfast experience. Have you dined at Ale & Compass before?
Onto Epcot for a morning of rides and exploration. Genie+ is again a hit with Dan and they easily get a place in the virtual queue for Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Remind, but there is a big difference between the virtual queue and paying for an individual attraction lightning lane – the wait is significantly longer!
Join Dan & David as they experience Reflections of China, Frozen Ever After, Soarin’ Around The World, The Gran Fiesta Tour, as well as exploring the Epcot World Showcase Pavilions too.
And then onto lunch at new Epcot restaurant La Creperie de Paris. Another new experience for this trip. And of course they both give you their review too!
And despite the rainy day at Disney, Dan & David brave the weather and go to the DVC Member Event, Moonlight Magic at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon. A super cool event, with a beach party, Disney characters and water slides and coasters . . . . in the dark!!! As new DVC members, this was something brand new to try and it was a really fun party!

We actually had the Buffet breakfast at Ale & Compass on our last day, it was delicious but I also found the buffet selection to be quite poor! Love David's reaction to Beverly 😂
Yes, we ate the Ale and Compass Lounge, had their barbecue chicken flatbread and Parker house rolls. And another night we ordered room service ( mobile ordered dinner from Ale and Compass ) My husband ordered the barbecue chicken flatbread , they shared the Parker house rolls with different flavoured butters, my son ordered barbecue cauliflower, and I had mushroom, spinach, baby tomatoes, parpedelle pasta in creamy roasted garlic and Parmesan sauce ( which was delicious ). My son ordered a chocolate cake and hubby had apple crumble type of dessert. Had a few bites of his, since I was so full!
Three years ago we went to the Moonlight Magic after dark at Typhon Lagoon. Had a blast, had a dancing party, hit the bar, then wave pool, which was a hoot!
Haven’t been to the creperie yet, next year will be a must! You must try out Le Glacé ( ice cream place ) in France! Highly recommend it, flavours are gorgeous!
Again thanks for letting me relive my memories there! Went to every place you went to in Epcot, except for the Creperie de Paris.
The Coca Cola was great. The world’s worse one was from Italy ( Beverly ). I liked the watermelon one the best.

I reeeeeally loved Ale & Compass for breakfast (and we enjoyed our dinner here earlier this year too). But I luckily had guidance from you and Courtney so I think Jake and I ordered the best options and skipped the buffet!

I also may be in the minority, but greatly enjoyed La Creperie! Never had anything like it and though the food was really nice. I'd definitely go back to the quick service location.
