I am aware that this is not your jurisdiction, I also know this is a life severely and wrongfully treated. As a call for mercy I bring this case to your attention, the case of Darlie Routier, on death row in Texas, having been convicted of the murder of her son with murder of her other child set aside for prosecution in the event the 1st murder is overturned. God brought this case to my attention and I looked deeper into it. She was convicted mainly because of a video of her, at her sisters suggestion, having put balloons all over the boys grave (they were buried together) and spraying silly string over the balloons. During the trial, the prosecution would play the video to the jury countless times. The version they played was heavily edited, showing only the portion in which Darlie and Dana were spraying the Silly String at the grave site. It was Davis’ intention for the jury to believe Darlie was a remorseless, uncaring mother whose actions were that of a guilty person. The jury was blissfully unaware of the somber mood earlier in the day during the prayer service. It is also seen in pictures of her in the hospital that she had severe bruising on the insides of her arms, indicating a fierce struggle. Her throat had been cut with the knife going all the way town to the to the top of her left breast. I see nothing revealing a self inflicted injury. I do not believe that neck wound would have been placed there as a decoy- that was meant to kill her, plain and simple. By some miracle it was 1-2 mm too shallow. It was a gold chain she was wearing that stopped the knife from killing her. I strongly recommend taking this case before psychologists in a totally neutral way, not pro or con of her guilt and no thought to the possibility thereof, perhaps even dr. Phil might take a special interest. I was at the top of my class in psychology on college. She was a very well to do woman in a very sheltered environment with no traumatic history. The out of no where she wakes to find an intruder in the house, her throat cut and her kids stabbed and dying. I would expect nothing less than for her story to make no sense. That response has no substance. If she had just killed her kids, why would she be there doing something like that in front of people.
