Tokyo has several famous observatory such as Tokyo Sky Tree and Tokyo Tower, but it can be costly if you try to go some of them, especially if you are with your family. So today, I came up with 7 spots that you can get sort of a nice view of Tokyo without any charge. It’s free so easy to visit and take a rest from the busy streets of Tokyo.

Interesting suggestions, thank you.
Nice rooftop garden at ginza six as well
Tokyo Metropolitan Government Observatory resumed in September 2022, but only the South deck is open for a while as the North deck is used as vaccine center. The opening hour is 9:30 to 22:00 (the last entry at 21:30). Closed on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays every month.
Very interesting suggestion. Thank you. I will check some of them next week.
What great suggestions KenChan! I've only been to Tokyo Sky Tree and the Tokyo Metropolitan building for sky views. I will definitely have to check out the other numerous spots you listed. Thank you !
Your videos are wonderful. Great subjects, information, and narration. Background music at just the right level. And you have a pleasant, relaxing voice. Thank you!
I have seen some many youtubers out there doing japan stuff. But very little on what do see and do at night? How about a tokyo at night ?
thank you for this video. i only know the first 2 out of the 7. i will visit them when i am in tokyo in december!
All are fantastically recommended. I particularly like the view from: 1) the Asakusa cultural tourism centre. The view over the lit-up 仲見世通り and 浅草寺 is just spectacular.I actually strolled through the area at night few years ago after dining at 六文錢 on my way to Tokyo Metro. Obliviously, I was amazed at the stunning noturnal view at the temple and 五重塔 on ground level. I stayed for quite a while to catch as many photo opportunities as I could; 2) the sunset view at Toyosu ぐるりpark. I would love to see the sun setting among the skyscrapers of Tokyo Metropolitan. It’s worth stopping by after a day at the nearby Odaiba. In my opinion, Tokyo Tower is a must-see for anyone up from the viewing platform and down from a nearby park, both day and night. The Tower has been an icon of Japan, secondly to Mt Fuji, from time eternal. Thanks for the video. Would keep your recommendations in mind for future visits.
