Amalfi is a lovely village, with a collection of white houses that gleams like a gem among the settlements scattered along the Amalfi Coast. It’s also one of the most flat; rather than hanging steeply to the ocean like some of the other famous places here, it ambles up the slope from the water, making it a bit simpler to stroll about.
