I'm back from Alanya two weeks ago and as a couple we booked apartment. This was a fabulous choose for us. In Alanya bus ticket per person was 11.25TRL in one way. Independent which beach are you choose, for two sunbeds and umbrella price was between 50 to 75TRL. Taxi was always with meters and was not very expensive, one minus was the drivers don't know English and we have problems with told them when we want to go, but always is some bigger shop or area which they know. We lived near to Metro shop in Alanya. BTW , great for shopping. we love Turkey and we will back in next year. The weather was amazing ๐คฉ hot hot hot and sunny โ๏ธโ๏ธโ๏ธ
December, what the situation in turkey? To cold?
You are so good Olga….planning to visit in march……is this going to be cold or hot…again thanks a lot.
Thank you Olga. I really appreciate your help guys in explaining things in your video. I was in Alanya in 2019 and I am planning to go there and to Antalya before the end of the year. Your information is very informative as i faced allot of issues especially when It come to communication.
Good informative video! One thing missing was the possibility of using intercity busses which is less expensive than rental cars and less stressful once you find the terminal and buy the tickets (knowing a little Turkish helps). In June 2022, I took a bus from Izmir to Cesme for 50 TL (about 3 USD) one way.
Is there alcohol in turkey???
Is it possible to pay in euros in the shopping center?
I didn't quite understand how you bought a ticket. Can I buy a card for a fee in advance and then top up the credit on it? Do I tell the driver where I'm traveling and attach the card? I don't know any world language, I always use google translate.
You two guys are TWO GEMS. I can compare you to Parents grabbing their children hands and showing them the way to whatever they want to do and how to do it the proper way thus avoiding making mistakes. THANK YOU
I got back from Turkey, the taxis were great from Istanbul, we had Turkish Lira and we only paid 400 TL to our hotel by Bosphorous. Cappadocia was amazing but disappointed that Hot Air balloon was $280 per person! We decided to just watch and it was fine, we also stayed in Antalya but got scammed by Host of Airbnb as we did not stay at the place we booked. We went to Kas and had a great time. All in all I liked the country side than Istanbul. It was crazy traffic and too many people.
Great information
Is it possible to buy a monthly bus pass as a tourist in Fethiye area ?
Flying to Antalya in 3 days because I thought October was the best time. Public transportation is a little scary but the vid helps a lot. Explaining transport cards, apps to help, etc
To be completely honest, I feel as though foreigners are no longer wanted in beautiful Turkey. Laws have changed making it very difficult. My entire retirement plan was halted because of this. Just be prepared for things to change quickly, because they typically do.
Was weer en leuke informatieve film. Iโค iT! Vraag hoe zit het met een fiets huren in Lara / Antalya?
Great ๐ ๐ ๐
