I been on this Shinkansen before. During Autumn and winter, the view was nice. I feel the speed was reasonable but yeah, the seats looks less attractive compared to other Shinkansen.
I remember the E2 having smaller windows.

I saw that they painted an E2 Shinkansen in the old White and Green livery – looked wonderful! The normal blue and grey livery is very dull. Bet you'd have liked to have travelled on one of the old Double Deck E4 units that used to be on that route!
