  1. The cruise lines invite travel agents on some of these initial cruises.
It would help up sell cruises if we can tell clients that we have experienced
    the new protocols first hand

  2. honestly, it just feels like its not worth it to cruise with all that, i have already taken the test, what should i use the mask for? I think cruise lines will struggle to find enough passangers withall this stuff

  3. The main question is will the new protocols be enforced. I will wait and see. I don't care if there are 74 protocols and 65 pages, if passengers are allowed to walk around the ship non-compliant what does it matter. I want to see RCI kick off passengers who don't follow the rules and endanger other passengers. We all know that there are people who don't think rules apply to them or that they don't need to comply since they aren't "sick" or have some other reason not to comply. Let me see zero tolerance in practice and I'll use my FCC. If I don't see it, I'll eat the several thousand dollars rather than risk my health.

  4. I am a Luxury Travel Advisor, my upscale clients do not want to sail with these protocols in place. I want to cruise so bad I can’t stand it but I’m not thrilled about wearing a mask and constantly being subject to possibly being denied boarding or confined to my stateroom. That will be very stressful so I’m afraid I will be cancelling several bookings for late 2020 and into 2021.

  5. Absolutely right! We need to ensure guests and crew are healthy and safe. Cruising will be the safest and best way to travel on holidays.
We will not find other way to travel thar will care for our safety like that.
And hotels and excursions anywhere else are using the same guidelines. Just pick the company that is doing it better.

  6. Love cruising! Just went on my first one back in January 2020!
Also I’m New to YouTube! Please check out my first ever video! 💕💕💕

  7. Having second thoughts for my cruise on Anthem of the Seas 12/27/20, who is going to pay for the covid test
that you need prior to boarding, not sure if I want to be restricted from getting off at ports without an excursion.
Looks like another money grab by RC.

  8. I knew that they would require testing but they’re giving people the covid through the testing..so ofcourse that’s my only concern.. and sounds like it’s continuous testing throughout the trip.. so No for me. And they’re checking temps in which don’t mean you have covid … hope they’re not misdiagnosing people with covid that only have sea sickness..since those are facts they are misdiagnosing people.

  9. my question is who do they decide gets to go on the cruises, for those of us that have already booked and paid for the cruise 6 months in advance? also what about things like snorkeling mask is this a BYO type scenario?

  10. At this point, I’m hoping our January Cruise gets cancelled. I don’t want to have our first cruise tainted because of protocols. I was really looking forward to exploring ports, and taking the better excursions offered locally.

  11. All these whiny comments about mask wearing and limited excursions. I appreciate it. I understand it. When making rules, you have to generalize and assume the risks. If they were lax, then all it would take is that one passenger to show a negative result 5 days prior, then catch it 2 days prior.

  12. my next cruise is September 2021 in Europe. the only thing bothers me is not being able to go on my own to explore the cities. hopefully, by that time, this rule will be lifted, if not that will take the half of the whole joy going cruising. however I understand the reason of that rule.

  13. I seriously hope I'm wrong but at worst, many cruise ships will be going to the scrap yard. At best, this is too complex and not my idea of a relaxing holiday…..so no we won't be cruising again any time soon. I'm sceptical that even our March 2020 cruise to NZ will even go ahead.
