After almost 3 years, the borders will be officially open to tourists from October 11, 2022. No need to worry about getting a package tour or visa. The daily entry cap has also been abolished. A lot has changed since Japan was last open to the world and there’s lots of new rules to get to know.

I wonder if the Money on my IC Card is still valid after not being able to visit friends for 2 years and 7 months now. Should be, but you never know. Anyway, already got my ticket and will arrive on 12th of October. Still can't believe it's actually happening. (Thanks for the tipp with the MySOS App)
