This is our first time to travel in Singapore and we have been very impressed with how modern the city is and how well everything is designed. We will talk about our first impressions of Singapore and what we really like about Singapore from a foreigner’s perspective.

  1. Looks like Singapore is a natural home for you guys. Unsolicited advice, consider creating a company based in Singapore – you can do it as a foreigner. Then your company can sponsor your own workpass or apply for the Entrepass. Good luck, hope to see you guys around town.

  2. I watched your vids and walking channel, Singapore is not my cup of tea, reminds me of Dubai, modern, artificial, built yesterday, with lots of light shows, gimmicks but lacks spirit…I like Vietnam tho..so thanks for your videos, very interesting…:) please tell Thuong to learn English so we can have more of her on your channel…:D:D:D

  3. I'm gonna miss your Singapore videos when you go back to Vietnam. That's for sure.

  4. Even the nicest looking places have their problems but I never knew or appreciated how attractive Singapore would be as a place to live until your uploads. Thanks πŸ™‚

  5. If I am not wrong, Singapore is one of the best countries to make business… with a high quality of life.

  6. Wow, the scenery is out of the box clean. I actually thought at the start you guys were on a movie set where everything is perfectly in place. From the bike rides, I'll have to put Singapore on the list of places I can look to ride in. I watched your Taiwan vlogs and once there, I did some riding, but it was winter so no loop around the island. Next visit I'll get more adventurous, although around Taipei, it's just as bad as Vietnam, with the traffic and scooters. Glad it was a good trip for you two.

  7. Singapore is one of the nicest cities in the world. I'd live there in a second.

  8. I remember many years ago (I'm 57), someone got caned for dropping gum on the sidewalk in Singapore. Is that an old myth?

  9. You guys are really loving Singapore… πŸ˜‰
I wonder if we'll see any special life-changes coming up.

  10. Youtube is so weird sometimes. I know they say putting your face on the thumb-nail helps the algorithm, but even subconsciously it works. I popped up Youtube, and was like "oh, yeah, I know those guys!" and now here I am watching another fun adventure!

I think it's fascinating how in a world of click-bait, words themselves have lost so much meaning, but a face is a good representation of the ideas and integrity of a channel. It didn't even matter what the title of the video was. I just knew the people who produced it were awesome.

    Keep up the good work!

  11. this is the first cycling tour of Singapore from a foreigner's perspective! Well done! Two Wheel Cruise! You two are so popular in Singapore!

  12. Hope to see you next time soon! Organise a meet-the-people session with your funs here next time.

  13. Nice to see you two in Singapore! Maybe next time, you can ask Mobot to arrange a meetup with local bike enthusiasts/your fans. It'll be win-win-win for all (Mobot, you two and fans). πŸ˜ƒ

  14. 2:30 "…ride across parts of the country"
Many of your viewers will not know that Singapore is only about 50 kilometers wide and even narrower than that. Ride across the country? I chuckled, sorry.

    2:39 "…yesterday was a really hot day"
SG is hot and steamy year round.

    3:34 Affordability and food
Yeah, food courts are still affordable. Go to a regular sit-down resto and get back to me.

  15. It appears that you both have reached celebrity status😎. Have you signed any autographs yetπŸ™‚? Not wanting to put you on the spot, but have you had any thoughts of moving there? I know you mentioned that you were both thinking of moving back to Japan, but have you changed your thoughts now? After watching your videos, Singapore looks like a very good option. Perhaps you could relate to us what emigrating to Singapore entails. Great video. I give Singapore a score of 11 out of 10. I have a bucket list set up, and Singapore has taken top spot now placing Japan in second.

  16. I had also heard that it was an expensive destination. Out of curiosity, looked up the cost of living on Numbeo and that sentiment does seem to be true if one is intending to settle there for a while, but, I guess if you're just visiting, the expenses can be mitigated somewhat as you mentioned. But, it does look great.

  17. Love this walkthrough. We love looking at our country through someone else's lens. It brings us new insights. Thank you for sharing!

  18. I don't know what Thuong has made greater strides with – her cycling power or her English – probably both!! Seriously impressed so RESPECT!!

  19. Thanx for showing Singapore, it's somewhere I wish to go one days soon, and great to hear Thoung-san's English getting so much better, she will be quite fluent in time.

  20. I went to Singapore a few years ago for my friends wedding. Stayed at sentosa resort for a week. This was around the same time because the f-1 race was going on at that time.Singapore is a beautiful place. It’s basically a clean version of Hong Kong. Btw I love hk ! I’m from nyc so hk is up my alley ❀
