This trip is a 3-night, 4-day trip by car, but I also stayed in the car for one night.

There are many ways to enjoy a trip, such as scenery, hot springs, and cuisine.

In my case, my husband and I often travel by public transportation, but this time we went by car.

This time, following the Takachiho Miyazaki section in the first part, we will introduce Aso in Kumamoto, which erupted the other day.

We spent the first night in the car at Kita-Kumamoto SA on the highway, and the next day we stayed at National Kyukamura Minami-Aso for the second night.

On the morning of the third day, after taking a walk around Kokumin Kyukamura, we left for Kusasenrigahama in Aso.

White smoke was rising from Aso Nakadake, which erupted the other day.

I was able to enter up to Kusasenrigahama, but after that, entry was prohibited.

From the small hill of Kusasenri, I was able to see Mt. Aso Nakadake up close.

At Daikanbo, we were able to enjoy the magnificent view of Aso’s outer rim.

After this, I headed to the inn to soak in another fun hot spring.

The inn on the third day was a Japanese-style hot spring inn called Hanamomen of Yunohira Onsen.

The dinner was so delicious, it was more than we could eat as a middle-aged couple.

The breakfast was also very delicious.

On the way back, I bought horse mackerel from Karato Market in Shimonoseki on the way home.

An overnight drive trip to Hiruzen, Oyama, and Jerseyland.
