#1 Tokyo Tower:
When you first travel to Tokyo, Japan, the first thing to do is visit Tokyo Tower. The Tokyo Tower was the world’s tallest structure until Tokyo Skytree surpassed it in 2010. According to any guide book, the main observatory is open from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., seven days a week, and is open to the public.
#2 Harajuku City
The second thing to do is go to Harajuku city. There are tons of things to do there. Harajuku is the area between Shibuya and Shinjuku that surrounds Harajuku Station. Takeshita Street is lined with boutiques selling the most up-to-date fashions and photo-worthy cuisine. Traditional crêpes, giant cotton candy, and Korean hattogu are all available.
#3 Odaiba City
The third thing to do is go to Odaiba city. There are unlimited amounts of things to do there. Odaiba is a man-made island off the coast of Tokyo, Japan. Odaiba’s beach and surrounding attractions provide a seaside escape for kids and adults without having to leave Tokyo, making for a fun, full day just outside the concrete jungle. The Aqua City Odaiba shopping mall complex stretches for 300 meters along the water’s edge. A 15,000-square-meter top gourmet zone is located within the shopping mall.
#4 Tokyo Disney Sea
Coming in at number 4 is Tokyo Disney Sea. The things you can do there are endless for both kids and adults. Tokyo Disney Sea has seven themed lands, all of which are referred to as “ports of call” in keeping with the park’s nautical theme. The language of all signs, announcements, and guide maps are in English and cast members are also always willing to assist and guide you.
#5 Tokyo Disneyland
The last, but definitely not least, the fifth thing to do is go to Tokyo Disneyland. It’s a no-brainer for Disney fans to go to Tokyo Disneyland. In addition to the familiar and beloved attractions from Disneyland and Disney World, the Japanese parks offer a variety of unique experiences, ranging from inventive and top gourmet cuisine to spectacular Disney hotels. They also have their own spins on popular rides and attractions that are only available to them.
