Really nice city, I was always amazed how japanese were able to rebuilt Nagasaki and also Hiroshima after 2nd world war…and sometimes I wonder how would those city looks like if they weren´t destroy…also Setre glover looks very nice and it has homely charm

Thank you for a very interesting look into history. Your hotel seemed to be really nice with the walking tour and having the chef cook the lobster for you. Did you feel a sense of elegance while dining there? You were asking where we would like you to go. I think the early education of women in Japan is a fascinating story. I read a book then later saw a movie based on this girl age 6 that was sent to the US. to learn with other girls then return and teach to other women. Her name is Tsuda Umeko. I believe there is a Library Museum associated with the School now University she established. I think the University is in Tokyo and think that would be an interesting place to go to. A very lovely place to stay and very informative. I have always loved to read about Gunkanjima and always found it a very interesting place. Sad you weren't able to see it up closer but I'm sure you will be able to some day. Nagasaki is a very lovely place with so much history. <3

It's always good to have a bonus video from you during the week. Nagasaki seems to be a nice city to visit. I thought Setre Glover was a name of a famous person at first 😆. A great place to stay and what a room. Gunkanjima is so cool but what a shame you couldn't go ashore that day. Take care of yourself and enjoy the rest of the week.
Interesting cross of cultures. I'm interested in visiting Nagasaki someday to see the capybaras at the Biopark, but this hotel seems rather expensive for me 🤣 The historic house museum was interesting though. It's strange that it's been preserved, I have to imagine that these foreign people exploited Japan a lot to make their own wealth 🤔
